Amjad Bashir Announces Fund Raiser for Rohingya Crisis

Amjad Bashir is pleased to be able to announce a fund raising event in aid of the Rohingya people who are being systematically ‘cleansed’ from the state of Myanmar by the military junta that rule that country.

The event will take place at the Carlisle Business Centre, 60, Carlisle Road, Bradford BD8 8BD, on Friday 5th January 2018. Arrival at 6pm for a 6.30/7pm start.

Guest speakers will be businessman, Mr Aneel Mussarat and Mr Sabzadha Jehengir, who have just returned from Bangladesh where they have seen first hand, the plight of these poor people. They will give an account of their experiences and tell us what they have been doing to try and help the 700,000 displaced people seeking refuge in Bangladesh, most arriving there with nothing more than their lives and grateful for that.

Food will be donated by Zouk Restaurant, Leeds Road, Bradford all monies collected will be donated, without deduction, to support the Rohingya refugees.
